BP003373: Human/Murine/Rat BDNF Protein with No Tag
Source: The recombinant Human/Murine/Rat BDNF Protein, (amino acids His129-Arg247) fused with No tag, was produced in E.coli cells.
Molecular Weight: The recombinant Human/Murine/Rat BDNF Protein has a predicted MW of 13.51 kDa. The protein migrates to 15-19 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human/Murine/Rat BDNF protein with No tag at 1 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Human TrkB protein with the His tag with the EC50 of 0.17 ug/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human/Murine/Rat BDNF Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
